程志田，系北京西城区军休十三所退休干部。退休26年来多次参加全国性的书画大赛大展，作品全部入编入展，获金奖60余个。入编70余部作品集，其中有《中国书画六十年鉴》；《中国书画名家大词典》；《中国当代书画名人档案》等。作品被多个书画院永久收藏。现为中国书画艺术促进会常务理事、中国文化艺术发展联合会常务理事。历经多年的精心研修，逐步形成了自己的风格，被业内专家评为：结构雍容大方、笔划苍魂流畅、字迹秀气端庄，作品气韵高古，墨法豪迈，标新立异，自创一格的发展特点。《艺无涯》是本人的座右铭。在艺术的海洋里吸收营养，不断改进提高，完善自己的艺术特点、风格。

Cheng Zhitian is a retired cadre of the 13th Military Retirement Institute in Xicheng District, Beijing City. Over the past 26 years since his retirement, Cheng has participated in numerous national painting and calligraphy exhibitions, with his works all included in the exhibitions, winning over 60 gold medals. Moreover, his works have been included in over 70 collections, including Chinese Painting and Calligraphy in the Past Six Decades, Catalogue of Famous Chinese Painters and Calligraphers, Archives of Famous Chinese Painters and Calligraphers in Contemporary Era, and the like, while many of his works are permanently collected by various painting and calligraphy institutes. Cheng is now the executive director of the China Calligraphy and Painting Art Promotion Association and the China National Society for the Promotion of Arts and Culture. After years of painstaking studies, Cheng has gradually formed his own style, which has been evaluated by experts in this field as graceful and generous structure; vigorous and fluent strokes; elegant and dignified handwriting; high rhythm artistic conception; bold ink style; novel and original; with his individual characteristics. “Endless Art”, Cheng’s motto, avails him to absorb nutrients, constantly improve, and perfect individual artistic characteristics and style.
